This one is a no-brainer, but there are those that haven't been to the dentist in ages, who don't get their teeth cleaned, and only go to the dentist for an emergency situation. You should be going to the dentist every six months for a routine cleaning and a checkup of your teeth. This can help prevent major dental health issues, and keep an eye on anything that could be concerning in the future. Cleaning your teeth by a professional dentist will help to remove plaque that your toothbrush isn't getting and prevent tooth decay and gingivitis.
